keep an eye on your deer herd especially the bucks.  very cool we have a lot here in Arizona and I've never caught one on a game camera what did you draw him in with?

Can't claim the pic.  I just posted it from a local paper.  DNR claims no cougars in Illinois, lots of "Witnesses" claim otherwise.  Personally, I think there is a small population.

DNR Says that we don't have them here in NY either but as a kid, I have seen 2 in PA (area located 30 min from my home in NY). My grand father told me that they wont admit it b/c years ago they were the ones who introduced them to our area to help control deer populations. Nice pic. If they say that they don't have them there does that mean you can shoot them any time (cant have a season on something that isn't there)....

Morgan county.  Absolutely, you can shoot one because they don't exist and are not regulated.  BUT, if you did, the DNR would confiscate it to study it and you'd play hell ever getting it back.  Personally, I'd wouldn't shoot one unless it were in defense.

   Same story in Arkansas.  The official Game and Fish position is that they do not occur "NATURALLY" in the state.  They say that IF they exist, they have been introduced or released in the state.  A friend in the Game and Fish said that if they took the position that they exist in the state, they would have to develop regulations to protect them, which would mean increased personnel to enforce regulations.  In other words, it would cost too much to admit that they exist.
   I saw a dead one several years ago on the side of I-40 around Morrilton on my way to Little Rock.  I also have a cousin west of Tulsa, OK that raises cattle.  He found one of his calves about 12 foot up a tree.  He knows it didn't get there in a failed attempt of trying to jump over the moon.

If that were in IL. you think the DNR would look for DNA to prove it,like they did in MO.

Cool pics. Here in Al the Game Dept says we don't have any but it is illegal to kill one in Al. I know better about them. I saw one last turkey season
