I know that they are mangy, egg eaters, but this one sure is friendly. My brother in law is in Colorado on a self guided bow hunt and had this guy come up to him in his camp.. I don't know the whole story, but it is pretty dang neat..

May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

I've got a grey that raises a litter every year about 100 yds. from my back door. She comes up every day to get scraps that my wife throws out for her. My wife has chickens that roam free on the yard and not once has the fox even tried to get one. She will let you get about 10' from her but she won't eat from your hand.

Being from the deep south....any wild animal that lets you get that close raises eyebrows towards rabies. While very cool, I'd be on my toes.
