if you were to build a new turkey gun?

I was able to get to a small local gun shop and get my hands on just a few shotguns to see how they felt.

First impressions were, hated the turkey thug edition Mossberg, didn't like the Nova either, Remington SM felt right at home because all I've ever used is an 870 but not sure I want another of the same. The 935 wasn't bad, I didn't fall in love but I didn't hate it either. Think I'd need to try it with a pistol grip to make a final call on that one but the price on those are hard to ignore I could get an Eotech for the money id save compared to others. Loved the benelli SB II it felt awesome but the price tag would be a tough one to swallowing no matter how much I love turkey hunting. I still would like to get my hands on a stoeger and see how it feels compared between the 935 and SB II.

I might just wait it out and see if Stoeger comes through with the turkey edition of the 3500 before next season.

Im still unsure if I will move my fast fire II from my 870 to the new gun and put a slightly cheaper red dot on the 870 like a vortex strikefire or Mueller quickshot. Put another Fast Fire either II or III on the new gun and have two of them. Or go with my dream and get the Eotech. All that will probably be dependent on how much I spend on the gun.

I have an 870, a Charles Daly, a Winchester 1300, and a new 935. I would not trade the Mossy for the other three any day. It cycles any load I have tried and patterns better than any gun I have owned. My second choice would be the old 870.
