Still gettin it done in WV

Took another buddy out this morning to try for his 1st wv bird.We went to a farm where i had been chasing a group of 5 longbeards for 2 weeks with no luck.I had'nt been there since i filled my last tag but we decided to try it anyway.We had 1 bird kinda gobble back from another farm but he kept getting farther away so we headed back to the car to go try somewhere else.Just i pulled out on the road he looked up in the top of the field and said theres 4 birds there,i looked through the binos and they were all longbeards,so we parked,took off back up the hill where we had just came from and when we got to the top we couldnt see very good so i told him to just stand behind a tree.I gave a few yelps and one gobbled about 70yds away next thing i looked and here they come,he let them get to the fence and rolled the best looking one.10 1/2"beard,1"spurs,20lbs.
