It's amazing the variation of density and color you can get in canarywood. I'll check out your pics at home. My lovely work issued laptop has been filtered so I can't view most pics posted from sites like photobucket. Grrrr.
The wood has some great tonal qualities and a slightly fruity smell when turned.
