May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?
If attacked by a mob of clowns, go for the juggler.

When will it end! Our Northeast KS land can not handle any more pressure. The hunting pressure this year has been horrible, and 90% of the hunters are out of staters that have no respect for the locals. All three of my usual public areas are over run with out of staters, who've "been here all week". I sure hope the Kansas fad ends soon.

Good Luck on your trip!!   (sits back with bowl of popcorn to watch the show)

They pay good money to be there, i'm sure not all the locals are pleasant people either.

Funny I was there for 4 days saw one other hunter a local guy. Didn't seem like the birds have been presured at all. Maybe I was in a small unhunted pocket.

Most KS hunters and farmers I talked to in SE KS hate turkeys and say kill em all. They say they are killing the quail populations and they are a nuisance like resident geese are here on the east coast. I cant wait to get back out there. LOL
Go early, stay late, be patient and sit still.

We're not pleasant and we're not getting any nicer. Anything within an hour and a half of KC is over run. Even on weekdays. Being a full time college student with a full time job doesn't leave me enough time to scout any farther from the city than that. Used to only run into hunters on opening weekend. Now I can't go out, even during the week, without having to deal with the out of state armies. Just a little heads up... leaving your decoys in a public field over night not does not secure you that spot in the morning. It's first come first serve. Maybe i'm still a little bitter after having an Arkie ruin my morning....
