Anyone seen the movie Winter Bone?

It's up for multiple Academy awards, and I highly recommend you rent it. I was quite impressed with the actors/actresses who didn't seem to be acting, and were definitely not hired for Hollywood appeal. It was like they took your neighbors, and put them in a movie. The young actress up for best actress did one heckuva job for someone you've never seen before.

Never heard of it.  It ain't another one of those Broke Back Mountain movies is it?  Winter Bone sounds like it could have the same kind of story line.  If not I might check it out.

No, it's about hill people, trying to survive cooken drugs vs moonshine. Not really a Hollywood type of flick, more like an independant offering.
