Stool for The Blind.

Hey,
Looking for a Chair or stool, to sit on in the Blind, whats everybody using these days. I need something that will pack away and easy to carry back with me. I dont want to spend Big Bucks but something sturdy to hold up.

I use the Magnum DoubleBull Blind chair. Have the regular chair as well, but its a little small IMO.
3 legs and folds up nice. Not too heavy. There are others like it on the market, maybe a little cheaper, but I can't comment on the quality of the others. I do like mine and will pack it when deer hunting as well to avoid sitting on the cold ground.

Generally, I think they prefer cash.

I use a regular collapsible lawn chair, cant stand 3 legged ones because it hurts my planters

The HS tripod chair with the back rest on it. Its actually made a lot better than some of the more expensive ones and it won't hurt the pocket book one bit. I do agree that after an hour or so you may need to "adjust" but thats the joy of hunting from a blind and you can get away with quite a bit of movement.

have a couple of the tripod style they are ok has some height adjustment, light easy to pack and they dont cost much but they are not real comftorable so you may get tired of sittng in them after awhile but im sure there not alone in that regard.
the bucket stools with a swivel seat are bulky but it does allow you to carry alot inside the bucket maybe a little more comftorable.

Magnum double bull. It's rated for 300 lbs. I'm 250 and its very comfortable for me. It doesn't dig into the back of your hamstrings like the lawn chairs or many other chairs I've tried. Built very well.

Regular double bull. The boys say it holds up the best, and they use them more than I do. Three legged with no arms and a back makes it a lot more comfortable and versitile to move for a shot. Around $40.

After spending the biggest part of the afternoon looking at Chairs and stools, I went with the one you recommened the H.S. Tripod chair, I bought 2 of them and it didnt break the Bank, Plus when I put up the blind I leave it up, as I hunt private land and I have always had good luck with nothing taken, Last year I just took a Bucket, But I need something more comfy, although I was only in the Blind last two years a total of 30 minutes and had my Birds. Thanks for all the Relpys, I did like the DB stool but kinda High in price, but you get what you pay for and I may wish I would of Got the DB Stool.

I would go with a comfortable collapsible chair with arm and back rest then you can sit for how ever long you want and be comfortable especially if your going to leave everything up.Sit the chair you just bought up in your livingroom and watch tv for as long as you think you might have to sit in your blind and see how you come out. Goodluck and hunting!!!
