AWESOME!!! Great footage man! Hey if you dont mind me asking what type of camera are you using, that footage is crisp!!! I have a sony HD camera and the footage looks great but every time i transfer it to youtube it downgrades the quality alot, yours is perfect, whats the trick? lol

Canon HF100 with a Rode Video Mic

My camera does take great HD videos, but I don't think the secret is the camera.  I too get frustrated with youtube.  I have tried to render these videos in every format possible with every setup trying to find the secret.  I have finally decided on a .wmv (windows media video) format for 2 reasons.  1. the file is small, but still holds great HD clarity 2. youtube likes it.   When rendering HD videos I get the best quality rendering to the same settings as the camera records.  In other words, the camera records at 1920X1080 at 29.97 fps...so that is what I render in.  When that .wmv is uploaded to youtube it doesn't have to downgrade the size of the file (cause it's not too big), which in turn does not downgrade the video.  I can get a 15 minute rendered HD video at 656 mb with this setting.  If your rendered video is in the GB (gigabyte) size, youtube will kill your quality.  I hope that's not too confusing.  Good Luck!
