Well guys, today I found a little jewel a could not pass up the deal. :happy0064:  It is a Win. 1300 Black Shadow Turkey.  IMO, one of the best patterning 3" guns ever.  But you know what they say about opinions.  Everbody has one.  Well today I bought a IC choke for it and the Hevi 3/2/6 and 3/Mag Blends did outstanding in this choke.  Tomorrow, if I can get about an hour to myself, I plan on deep cleaning the barrel and cleaning the choke.  My question is with the design of the slits on the IC how do approach cleaning it?  I know that choke will sure eat a Boresnake!!

Check out the allaboutshooting web site. It will tell you how to do it.

Scrub it with brass brush & a cleaning solution just as you would with barrel . If needed rinse with water & dry or blow it off with air hose .

Um...rinsing your barrel out with water??!!    First you're just ASKING for rust.  Secondly, how do you expectto get out the oils from the petroleum based solvents with water?  Punisher.  Do it the way it's desribed on Clark's site and you'll be golden.

I do agree with you do it Clark's way . I do not use water on the barrel . I remove the choke from the and barrel clean it seperatley . Im not trying to remove oils out just plastic left from the wad THEN DRY IT !!!!

Sorry about that sometimes Im not good with words .

Brake cleaner and a toothbrush does a great job.  The Brake Cleaner breaks down the plastic wadding material that the choke eats and the toothbrush will clean the tube and slits well.
