Primos Turkey Tracker?
March 23, 2012, 08:43:47 AM
Ok, so I went to Walmart to get some Rx filled and came home with a primos turkey tracker. That's par for the course I guess. Anyway, I've never had any kind of trail camera and was just wondering if anybody had any thoughts on these. It's only a 1.3mp so zooming on a picture isn't that great, but I'm not necessarily lookin to judge spur size. Just wanted something with constant surveillance to take in the woods while hunting and be able to set it on the way in and grab it on the way out. I know of some areas where I hunt that I suspect birds are slipping through silently
and thought this would be a good way to find out. Anybody have one or have any thoughts? Thanks!

I don't know about Turkey Tracker. I have a Primos Truth 35 and I love it. great quality both daytime and night, excellent battery life. I don't really have anything negative to say about it. I don't know how comparable they are, but I do know that Primos makes a nice trail cam. Hope it works out for you.

Thanks. I looked at a truth cam 35 today but decided I better just learn to use the one I have first. The turkey tracker does not take night time pics and there is no motion sensor, just a light sensor. It just takes pictures in 5-10-20-30 etc. intervals and comes with a program for the computer to download them and string them together like a little movie clip of the whole day. Got it set up in my yard now. Gonna see what these mischievous squirrels have been up to.
