my set up is a mossy 535 with kicks Gobbling Thunder choke .655 22'' barrel Patterned yesterday with the xx full turkey choke that came with the gun its a .670 with win supreme 3.5in x2oz x5 and was very upset with my pattern so i got the new choke. Just trying to figure out a good load combo for my gun that will kill one dead at 40 yrds no problem.

I have never had a mossberg shoot anything but 6's good until the hevi13 magnum blends. I'd try running some of them thru it

I shoot a similar gun (Mossy 535 Tactical Turkey with a 20" barrel).
The best choke and load combo so far is an Indian Creek .660" with Hevi 3-2-7 shells.
The Hevi 7's are good for 240-250 hits in a 10" circle at 40 yards.

wrong board, you may get some better responses if you add it to the correct board.

I am also working on choke and loads for a 535 22" barreled gun. As of right now I have a JH which does pretty good with #'5 and #6's 2oz hand loads. It has done well with a 1 3/8 oz load of Hevi#5's also. I also have an IC that puts up blchy patterns so far. I haven't ran anything smaller than hevi #6's through it yet.
I am awaiting on another choke to test out with some different loads.
