I have a Magellan Triton 500 and like it.  I hunt the big woods (public and private), and I like to roam.  I set a way point at the truck and roam all day long with no worries.

Garmin Ledgend  Used on elk hunts and lots of scouting trips.  Never had a problem  with it  Very easy to use and learn on if you never used one.

I use a Garmin Legend with 100k topo that I downloaded and it works great. Small nice color screen, good battery life.

Garmin 60 CSX gets my vote, I used em for both work and play and have zero issues with em.   :you_rock:

Looks like there is an overwhelming support for Garmin. I am sure you will be pleasantly surprised with the ease of use in any Garmin model. I have only one tip left to give, before you buy one check them all out in person.

I don't really have that option without driving 2.5 or 3 hours.  Just not going to do that.  I actually have decided on a DeLorme PN-40.  From reviews, personal reviews they seem to have better maps than Garmin.  If I was to get a Garmin it would be a 450t, and to me, just not worth the cost difference between the 2.
