what kind of sealer do you guys use on your winbones after painting ?

try fishing rod epoxy but remember you have to find a way to keep the call rotating while the epoxy drys.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

Never painted any of mine. I just used a layer of sewing thread at the joints and put clear epoxy over the thread. I would think you could just use clear coat.

The fishing rod epoxy that gooserbat is talking about is a sealer. It is a two part epoxy that you brush on and then put it on a jig to slowly rotate till it dries. I have heard of guys using a sewing machine motor with a face plate with pegs on it to hold several wingbones at a time.

The best epoxy coating I have found is ProKote from Mudhole.com. It works easy is not bad about bubbling.
