back in Dec it was in the mid 20's one morning and the woods were alive with turkey sounds... and season isn't too far of... but I think were still ahead of where we should be at theis time... by a week or so

Some of the best public spots I've found were by accident when I was out duck hunting in the middle of winter.....  :happy0064:   I guess even a blind squirel finds a nut every once in a while

Turkeys are vocal most of the year, more so in the spring when there testrone levels are high!

I went scouting this morning and not much luck.
They clear cut about 1/4 of my spot in Grenada county, so that throws a wrench in my plans.
