I've thought about buying one several times.
I see no downside, unless you have to make a move in heavy cover, then it might get tangled in underbrush.

I own several v-pods.... On every turkey gun I have now.... One of the best turkey hunting inventions in my opinion...... Saves your knee, and if you dont have much cover (like the edge of a field) then you can have your gun ready at all times. But if you are in a run and gun situation, then just fold it up and pretend it's not there!!

I have one and I like it . I cant sit and switch up calls when a bird is coming in with the gun resting on my knee . Now with the v-pod It will hold its self up and I can shuffle threw my call collection . Also If you get one , set it up a little low that way when the bird is coming in you can pick the front of the gun up and swing it without the v-pod hitting the ground .

Really like mine. Much better then most shooting sticks becuase they do not need to be carried separately and they are always ready to go.

If you are outside it's territory, natchez SS will probably have the better price.
