there is a website, askmike.com i think it is. I will double check with my wife, but he is a former tour guide there and offers lits of advice about which parks are the least crowded on what days, and other stuff. Depending on how long you are going to be there, I would suggest doing one of the meal plans - well worth it. Also, make reservations for character dinners well in advance. The Tusker house (in Animal Kingdom) has a great breakfast - and the good thing about breakfast reservations is you get to go in the parks before they open so once they do, you are already there and ahead of the crowds. That website should really help you out.

You picked a good time to go its slow right now. Did you buy the park hopper? You might want to ask someone at the resort if they are still doing the get in the parks an hour before anyone else if you are  staying on property. Yes do the fast pass but plan it wisely you can only do it one at a time. The best time to hit the busy rides is when the parade is going on.Go to Epcot in the afternoon so you will be there for the night laser show its awesome. There is a bar lakeside at mexico that has some good Margaritas get there early and get a table and enjoy the show. If you are going to eat you are going to pay no way out of that all the parks are high on food price. Your best bet is the meal plans. But if you can go off property and eat there are tons of places to go and much cheaper. They have catch and release fishing trips in the lakes surrounding the magic kingdom not sure what the cost is but they have some monster bass in them.

I just went and stayed at Pop Century 2 weeks ago. Check when extra magic hours are and plan parks accordingly ( it gives disney hotel guests extra time in parks) Get some rain ponchos at wal-mart ,walgreens etc. if it rains they sell them for about 5 bucks each in the parks. Use fast passes for the top rides remember you can only have 1 at a time. Try to hit the top rides early and late lines seem to be shorter then. As you ride the Disney buses watch for Gobblers strutting alongside the roads, there are some nice ones on the property along with deer. Hope you have a great time.

Rent a house and save a ton of money. We have been a few times and stayed on the grounds at Disney a few and rented a house twice. The house is much nicer and more private and also some have lakes for fishing. We rent a 5 bedroom 4 bath house with private pool for around $135 a night

I have never seen any wild animals on Disney property There is none there do not waist your time riding around looking. Its all private property and Security and the sheriff will run you off quick after they do a search. They have enough problems with people that do not know where they are going.

Don't forget Sea World !!! Really loved that place too!!!

I was there 6 weeks ago and saw turkeys and deer just about everywhere we went, we didnt have a problem with the security or the sherriff,I guess they felt like the disney buss drivers knew what they were doing?  :camohat:

We just got back from camping at ft wilderness (disneys campground). We take the kids about 4-5 times a year. Go to the campground about 7 pm. They have a campfire, outdoor movie and chip and dale come out and walk around to get pics with the kids. Best of all, its free.

PS. We had a longbeard hanging around our campsite for a few hours, my boys (4,7) started calling to him and got him to gobble and go into full strut right in front of them. Ill post pics when I get home.

Ive seen this Gobbler at the fort wilderness bus station years ago , it would come up to about 2 foot away and hang out in the shade- it was %100 pure Osceola too with 1 1/2 spurs and all --

The entire Disney property  is loaded with game ,  to my knowledge don't let anyone hunt it for safety reasons  -
