They must be using gasoline instead of powder in those things! :o
:TooFunny:
I'm all stocked up for now but when i run out if the price is still this high i'll gladly go back to the win xx and hv Pd loads

That is exactly what i am doing now. I just cannot justify the cost of those shells, i have a few left incase i do some hunting in fields but where i will be this year almost all shots will taken at 30 or less.

I ordered 7 boxes of 3.5 Hevi 6's from Dunn's a couple weeks ago for $18.29 a box.

You should see what they want for them now lol, They had the best prices in any type of hevi shot, heavy weight feds or win extended ranges. But i understand they gotta do what they need to do to stay in business. Those are some good guys down there, they always treat me good.

Just bought 7 boxes of 6s for 24.99 a box.

We'll have to see where things go from here

I just looked at Dunn's site and they are still showing $18.29 for the 3.5 inch 6's.

They must not update it often, that or its an online special. I can assure you the price in store is no longer 18.29.

I gotcha. I didn't realize that you were in the store. I would say go online and stock up!

If it keeps going up I WILL be switching!

Had lunch at Cabela's here in Lacey WA yesterday and bought three boxes for $19.99 each. All 3 inch (2 mag blend and 1 #7 shot). They are already marking them down as the season gets closer.

I have a place locally that has about 10 boxes of the 3.5" Hevi-13 2.25oz #6's for $18.99 a box.  I may just have to stock up and eventually switch from 7's to 6's for that price.  What do you guys think?

Yeah...I normally shoot the #7's, but I stumbled upon on a handful of 3-2-6 boxes and a couple 3.5-2.25-6 boxes that were mixed in and tagged with the lighter payload versions.  They were on sale for $14.99 and $16.99, respectively.  It's a good thing for me the boxes look almost identical, and the kid slapping the price tags on 'em couldn't tell.   :D
