5 years 5 gobblers 5 shots

Overwhelming amount of experience there.....  You should write a book

If you're going to disregard the advice given to you by those with more extensive knowledge and experience, what's the point of soliciting it in the first place?

Chock this one to experience: You will cripple one when you misjudge a 40 yard bird.  Furthermore, based on your pattern density and shell of choice, it sounds like 40 yards is at the outer limit of your effective range.

if you read the first post i was looking for a choke to shoot the mentioned shells,  and i knew that at some point i would be suggested to shoot some kind of heavy blend shell, so as you say choke on advise there was never any of what i asked for,,,,,,5 years 5 dead birds 5 shots, i belive in the hunt its self the point is to get the quarry in as close as possible before being busted, if i cant get a bird in past 45 yards i guess he is a free man,,,,,,,im not perkeked up on paper shooters, not be negative but the thread was to see what choke shot well with these shells,,,again sorry for ruffled feathers,,,,,,
