Mossy oak graphics gun kit question
February 12, 2012, 05:22:21 PM
I am thinking about rigging my 20 gauge Remington with obsession mossy oak graphic kit. My question is this..... If I have a shurshot stock, can I use all of the "skin" provided and still cover the whole stock? Or am I out of luck?
Any input from someone who's used it would be excellent!
Thanks

I've done research on the Mossy Oak Graphics kits myself, I have not used them yet, but here is what I have found. I have read in several places by multiple different people to buy the roll of graphics and not the gun kit. They say you can get 2 guns out of a roll of tape and it comes out cheaper on you. If someone that has done this can back me up that would be great. Like I said this is just my research and not my experience.

I've used the stuff and love it, but it's probably not enough to cover your stock. But, they do sell sheets of it on their website. You could just buy a sheet and fill in on the bottom side of your stock. The patterns really overlap well and seams are hardly noticeable. Having a shurshot and needing to do a little patch work wouldn't stop me from doing it after seeing how good it comes out, but you'll probably need a little extra.
