A few years back was lucky enough to find a Stardot for my 835 for 20 bucks. Have always been a lead shooting guy but was wondering if the Stardot could shoot the Hevi 13's. Stardots are very hard to find, wouldn't want to damage it.

Hevi-13 shoots great thru the Star Dot.  I have ran 6's and 7's thru mine with great results.

Thanks, How much difference is there in the Hevi 13 and Winchester hevi shot?

H13 6's and 7's through my 835 and StarDot.  My gun shot the H13 6's and XR 6's pretty much the same, 170-180.  I switched to the H13 7's though.

Just picked up a star dot for my 835. Looking at the H13 and can't justify spending $6 a shell! Patterning with the star dot, suggestions? 3" vs 3.5"? H13 #7 seems to be the talk these days...

In my 835 with the star dot I use W-W 3.5" 2oz #5s. They dont cost 6.00 a pop and I have killed several birds on the wrong side of 50 yards with them. That said I am going to give the H13s a try with the star dot. reflexl

Just got 5 boxes of H13 #7 3.5" at 19.99 a box from Macks with free shipping. Total 99.95!!

Just bought 4 of those, two boxes of 6's, two boxes of blends, and Hevi choke from Mack's.  Had to pay tax b/c I live in AR.

Mack's is on back order but says coming soon? How long does it take? Upside didn't pay 30 a box!
