Thinking about finally trying htl shells. Ill be shooting them out of a brand new ithaca turkeyslayer with a rhino choke. Has anyone had any barrel scratching or scoring using hevi 13? I know the shot is much harder than the barrel steel, or thats what i have heard anyway. Just dont want to scratch up the barrel of my new gun. Lead works well for me, but I SURE DO LOVE OVERKILL.

It isnt going to hurt the barrel, fire away. Just make sure any chokes you try are HTL rated.

Now you'll be able to get the full performance out of your rig. Fire away!
