Were can I post an item I would like to trade for ?????

Ask a moderator.  I think you need 50 posts to access the classifieds.

CASH

They need to be posted in the proper classified section for that item(s).  Turkey gun, calls, or misc. classifieds.

You also need a minimum of 50 posts to post stuff in the classifieds.
A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands, love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper; his hands remember the rifle.

I for one am growing tired of some folks saying the rules are stupid or ridiculous.  If one doesn't like the rules then you know where the door is.

I too was wondering where the classifieds went ...

Sure wish now I would had gone ahead and had my posts restored when the new system came online.  Probably still may not have 50 but would be a lot closer.  ;D

I was wondering the same thing.  I get on here pretty regularly and check the reloading section and such, but unless I have something to add I don't even log on many times.

Oh well.  I understand why they did it.

Guys , first of all the problem with the Gun classifieds is not a new one, it has been a long ongoing situation - We had people fishing for suspected fraudulent transactions on a daily basis -

For example I had one person "flooding" the classifieds with multiple adds , he burned 2 people at the same time , and he split . He tried several times to get back in on a different new profile to do the same thing , and I busted him trying to repeat the same thing again- The end result , is I shook him down , and then banned his azz again after I got my OG  members their refund . For awhile we had a listing restriction of one gun classifieds add per week to stop this from happening again , after some time we lifted it -  As a reminder the Gun classifieds is designed for our good trusted members to sell their own personal items to other good trusted members , If your sitting back asking yourself " how do I become a good trusted member ?" start posting and interacting with the rest of the members and let us get to know you , 50 posts is a minimal effort to gain some trust - if a member  cant bother to do that , and the only contribution they have for the site is to want to take peoples hard earned money and eat up our time , what kind of member is that? This is a turkey hunting community, not a "booty call"

All members have to know, just because someone claims this , or that, on the internet  doesn't mean it is true  - I have in the past had quite a few people jump up on this site and claim all kinds of mother goose stories about themselves and cause trouble with the OG  members ,the reality is that some were convicted felons , and/or con-artists not even remotely legally allowed to be anywhere near a firearm , not to mention have any business on a hunting site that involves firearms - I could go on and on but you get the drift , there are some folks out there that are not what they claim to be - be cautious of the tall stories and  your money

Okay , now now that I have gone down a few explanations about why we have rules {to protect the members} and to reduce issues- We have carefully implemented rules and policies to benefit the members as a whole, not to have the group as a whole put a financial risk because someone with 2 posts can sell items they wont post a picture of even after the staff has had all PM's ignored .
