I am probably going to get the adjustable knoxx stock for my 870.  Where is the best (cheapest) spot to buy one?  Cabela's has it for $100.  I probably want to get the black one because the plan is to get it dipped.  Thanks.

Check eBay.  That's where I got mine.

Make sure you get the Gen 2 version.

:help:What is the difference in a gen2? And how can I tell if I have the right one?

From what I have seen, gen 2 will be int he title. They just recently started feeling orders. I assume Cabelas has their old Gen 1 on sale to make room for the new shipment. Do a search on here for knoxx. There is a link in one of them to several places that have the latest model.

The Gen 2 has a redesigned spring system to help from the springs coming unhooked as well as a remolded plastic to better protect the shooter from the bad cheek slap.

I bought mine on ebay a few days ago for 114.00 shipped in camo.

Mine either.  I have one on a Rem 20 gauge and a Rem 7400 .243.  My son who was 6 this spring when he killed his first turkey and 7 when he killed his first deer.  He weighs 45 lbs now, and has no problem and does not complain when practicing.   My daughter is 5 and will start practicing soon too.

I think Barry's (slickyboyboo) article is an important thing to remember when shooting to allow the mechanism to work properly.
