Just asking opinions for a new stock.  Would you recommend a standard pistol grip or the sureshot stock?  If you say the pistol grip which one?

I just put the sureshot on my 870 and could not be happier with it. Looks good and very comfortable to hold looking forward to a good long sit with it

I just put a Shurshot on my 870 20 gauge.  Very comfortable.  I can literally hold the gun with my right hand only and shoot comfortably.

I put a Phoenix stock on mine. Its recoil reducing and adjustable. I set my 870 up for my kids to use and the 8 year of can handle it with my homebrew turkey loads that are pretty potent. Think I bought it off eBay for about a hundred bucks.

I've had the Knoxx recoil reducing and the non recoil reducing and now the shurshot. I like the sure shot the best and that's what's on my gun. I still have the Knoxx non recoil reducing stock on the 20ga for my son. If you need the adjustability on length of pull get the Knoxx.

Shurshot in my opinion,
I have a thumbhole stock on my 12ga 870 that I like but put the Shurshot on my 20ga, really been pleased and it totes well.

Shurshot on mine with an attached shooting stick.  Adjust it for those long sits.  Comfortable.

Ati has one that is pistol grip but the comb feels like a normal stock. Put one on my dad's 11-87 and my 835. Work great for sight, bead, or rifle sights. Worth the 45 bucks!
