Is there a way to do a trigger job on an 870 to get the trigger weight down.  My SuperMag has a heavy pull and I would like to make it more rifle like.

You can get a lighter competition spring from Remington or an after market spring. They will drop the pull down to around
31/2 pounds. I picked one up off ebay.

I put the one that BadGrizzly mentioned, on my 870.  It helped a ton.  There is some creep but its not so stiff or heavy.

In my opinion this was better for my 870 then hevi shot and the indian creek. Not only can you adjust the weight but this eliminates a lot of the creep.
