They say they are star dot look alikes? Any reviews or experience with these in an 835? Thanks

I doubt if anyone here so far knows the answer to your questions.  That is why you haven't received a response.  Highlander Sports out of Huntsville, AL was the company that owned the marketing rights to Star Dot chokes.  Now I doubt that they in fact milled and machined these chokes.  And I would say they more than likely didn't and that they had a choke tube company make these so they could sell them.  If the latter is indeed the case, I doubt very seriously we will find out the answer to who that choke company was.  But it could be possible since the company is no longer around and the truth may be legal to obtain now.  These chokes way back when were sold at Walmart stores for $19.99.  I remember seeing them.  Walmart was probably their biggest customer.  Highlander Sports ended up going out of business and these chokes at Walmart were marked down to as low as $5 in some areas.  They shot lead very well, but HTL wasn't out at the time and that seems to be where these Star Dot chokes really shine in the Moss 835's and some other guns like the Win Invector threaded chokes like the Win 1300 and Moss 500 guns.

Maybe someone that buys one of these Colonial Arms chokes you are referring too can chime in on how they shoot.  It could very well be possible that Colonial Arms did make these chokes for all I know.
