I never found any "snake boots" that I liked as well as my regular, leather/goretex hunting boots, so I bought a pair of wrap-around snake gators that I wear over my regular hunting boots.

I have owned every pair of snake boots you can find, right now I use the irish setters mountain claw vipers, they are really comfortable but same as always after 3 yrs of abuse down in florida swamps they started to leak. I also just got the woody all terrain but think they will be to warm down here and they are not snakeproof  so I will wear them up north. Thinking of getting the bogs copperhead, does anybody have feedback on them , that would be great.

I've got a pair of the Rocky boots.  My feet get wet just walking through wet grass.  I've tried coating them with Snow Seal, etc., still didn't work.  I'd love to find a good pair of waterproof snake boots.  I hunt a lot of swampy ground, so I use my alpha burly rubber boots until I can find a better snake boot.

Won't help you this spring, but coming out this fall will be some AMAZING rubber boots for chasing gobblers next spring. Under Armour. They will have an ankle locking system that will eliminate rubbing of the heels and they will be competitively priced at $129.99. God bless.
