got first bear yesterday

Rifle season started yesterday and me and my son left out about 5:30, about 1/2 mile down the road I hit a bear, had to go back home pry bumper away form tire. I knew it was a pretty good size bear, game warden finished it off, found someone to take it. found out later the bear weighed 428 lbs. I really hate to hit anything, even worse when it something big like that.

He would have been a trophy with a gun!

But not so good with the truck.  Dang shame.  Hope the damage wasn't too bad.

Well at least you and your son were not hurt. Hate to hit any animal with the car or truck.
