Finally got around to shooting some loads through a couple of chokes I bought used from a member here for my Stoeger, a Pure Gold, and an Indian Creek. I tried some Hevi #7's, and Mag-Blends. Mag-Blends came out on top, with a center-dense pattern out of the PG. Sevens patterns were almost identical with either choke.

I also tried a Winchester Xtended #6 through each, because that has been my shell of choice for several years in my 11-87. Anyway, I was shooting at 40 yards, and all the wads except one hit the ground at around 20 yards. The Winchester shot through the Indian Creek laid the shot cup right at the base of the target. I thought it was odd that it went twice as far as all the others, and wonder what causes this?

It is a harder cup. That makes it harder to get hold of.
