I just spent 40 minutes on the phone with Pappy. My first time speaking with him, and what a treat. Im a fan.

Pappy is good people!  Helped me over the phone on a call making issue.  He's a class guy.

I spoke with Pappy for the first time last week. Seems like I've known him forever. I could sit & talk to him all day. He is without a doubt a genuine guy. I've got some of his calls on the way. I would like to sit in his shop & watch him work his magic !

Just found out about this post, you guys are putting tears in my eyes, thank you so much for the kind words, let me say this...I have yet to meet a "true" call maker that really cares about their work and the chance to pass on the gift of heritage, that will not take the time to talk with people and help them as much as they can. There are some out there that are in it for the almighty dollar, but real call makers care about the hunter or collector in a different way, we tend to care more about the friendship created in a call rather then the size of our bank account......which by the way.....my jar is getting pretty low in the back yard...lol
