Shooting stick or tripod

Looking for recommendations for a stick or tripod made for shooting while sitting down on ground.   Whats the best one. For a 10 year old so trying to make everything I can is right.

In addition to the Primos shooting stick which I intend to get there is the

Caldwell DeadShot FieldPod Adjustable Ambidextrous Rifle Shooting Rest for Outdoor Range and Hunting which I have but never have actually used, I have had it set up and it is very rugged and well built but it is big and to me awkward and not something you are going to be toting around, it is only 2.20462lbs but just it's design makes it hard, if you are going to leave it in a blind then I would indeed suggest it. There is the Bogpod which I have never seen in person, just letting you know it is out there. It comes in several different configurations. Here are a few configurations.

I have a Vanguard VEO 2 CM-234TU Carbon Fiber Shooting Stick, Tri-Stand Base with Ball Joint, Rotating and Removeable U Shaped Yoke. It has legs that pull away from the side and help steady it, but it is not as stable as a tripod or bipod and it can be set to swivel at the base, I know at least one member here uses it with his kids and speaks well of it. The one thing I really like about it though is I can also mount my camera on it with one of several ball heads Vanguard sells that you can also get on Amazon or screw it into the bottom of my camera. The Primos shooting stick also has an attachment to attach it to a camera, but they do not offer ball heads.

Whatever is the most comfortable for the youngin. Concealment is an issue for most young hunters. A small blind makes up for a lot of movement, and most 10 year olds are defined as movement, lol. Something to occupy their time is a must to keep them engaged. Their attention span is narrow generally. I took animal track cheat sheet I printed off the web to quiz the youngins and quizzed them on sounds, trees, anything to help them focus. The first gobble will take care of the rest, lol. If you think your ten-year-old needs something other than learning to shoot sitting properly with knee support, I would go with either a bipod or tripod rather than any kind of monopod. I would think most kids in that age range would be quite capable of shooting off of their knees with a bit of instruction and practice.

I use a Bog Pod for my Grandkids, the tri-pod version. In fact, I have a couple of them and one is the Death Grip version. Outside of being heavy, it allows you to lock the gun into the yoke tight enough that the younger Kids don't have to support the gun as much and thus a more reliable shot hopefully is taken.

how low does it go down to.  Do you use it sitting on the ground.
