Here's 2 pics from a mineral lick. Lots of does and fawns, not one good buck, but this guy seemed to like my peanut butter better than the deer.

IMO---I think the owl has caught a wood mouse who was eating the peanut butter.

Now that's an idea. I know I caught him on 2 separate dates. He might have found a good spot to hunt. Peanut butter flavored mouse...
