Here's something I did to some friends of mine, I told them that you could make a turkey call from a pop top tab. Well I had them hook,line and sinker!You should have seen them, they were hypnotized LOL. I told them this was an old trick the old timers used. I took the pop top tab and held it to my lips and said "Here turkey, turkey, turkey" You should have seen their faces. they really thought I was gonna make some sweet sounding hen call LOL. It was funning to me LOL. Just thought I'd share that with ya's.

    I had an old guy that lives behind me pull the same kind of stunt.  I had just spent about 10 minutes telling him about making a tube call out of some sycamore that I had cut from a tree I removed across the street from his house.  (one of the first turkey calls I ever made) He told me he could make a turkey call out of a foam coffee cup.  He carefully and meticulously picked the bottom of the cup out then stuck it up to his mouth like a megaphone and said "here turkey, turkey, turkey".
     I must admit, my first reaction was wanting to make him fart little foam chunks...  I was able to just smile and walk away thinking... "He just doesn't get it."
