I would suspect they would have the drawing rather quickly so that those who applied will know whether they can make plans for their hunts. ...We'll see if that theory is correct... ;D

As a sidenote:  It would also be interesting to see how many nonresidents here on OG applied to hunt Kansas.  Three of us New Mexican's applied (never hunted KS before and had an invitation to go this spring)

March???? Well that sucks. Trying to plan multiple state hunts is going to be a thing of the past before long.

Be watching for my quota draw - tag master class on my channel. We will be discussing how we used to just go hunt but now we apply for a chance to hunt. Brought to you by onx
, mossy oak, and 100 yards easy ammo

I try not to gripe. In the whole scheme of things, a turkey hunt is not that important. That said, the KDWP, in my opinion, has handled this whole thing rather poorly, and are basically treating us nonresidents like the proverbial red headed stepchild. When I find out whether or not I am successful in getting a tag really doesn't matter to me, I am retired and the trip anywhere in my preferred hunting area is 5 hours or less, but that's not necessarily the scenario for many others.

Many have to plan months ahead for an out of state trip. At the very least, not knowing might cause one to lose an opportunity to go somewhere else until it's too late.

Non residents hunters have become red headed step children all over as of late. JUST ADAPT!!
