Congratulations!  I went after dropping the pounds in Fall 2010.  I'm down from 285 to 205 now.  It is amazing the difference in how I feel.  The hills aren't quite as tall and the walks not quite as far anymore.  It has made a big difference in my endurance and just how I feel at the the end of the day.
:icon_thumright: Fasntastic. Surprisingly, carrying 213 and at 63 years old,  I was getting around in the woods pretty well because I kept my legs in good shape, but defintely noticed the improvement this year. Steep hills still are a strain especially when I'm packen a heavy load.  ;D Us flatlanders just don't like hills.

Good for you man. I also have lost 40 gone from 265 to 225. Still need to lose another 20 or so. Problem is I haven't been under 200 since I was 18.

Congrats Jay!

How did you do it?
Step 1. 3 months prior to hunting season worked at the gym on strictly bicyling. 213-191.
Step 2. Hunting season 191-181. Lot of exersize without much calorie intake.
Step 3. Had my teeth yanked, and still having problems getting them adjusted to hard food. 181-171. During all of this have cut my appetite down to zip. I seldom am hungry, and don't really eat that much. Yesterday boating most of the day, when I'd usually be starving, had 2 pieces of Fried chicken, and a bbq pork sandwich. That use to be one meal for me with 2 other meals eaten during the day, along with snacks.

Great Job Jay, in the last 2 years or so I have gone from 215-220 down to 196, first time in over 10 years I have been under 200, I am shooting for below 190 asap, not sure if I am going to get there though last time I was under 190 I was  a swimmer in college
