I have seen these for sale as demo guns, no longer for sale, of course. If anybody knows of one or a location, I would be very interested. Thanks and enjoy your summer. Z

This weekend in my home town they are having a gun show at our Fair Grounds building and i decided to go and just see if i could see and 28 gauge shotguns, of what shotguns they had i found one older model Remington 1100 in 28 gauge with about half it's bluing gone and the asking price of 1400.00. Needless to say i keep going. Found just a few boxes of 28 gauge shells and they were way over priced. After seeing the prices of the guns at the show, i came to the conclusion my guns are worth a lot more than i was thinking they were worth...  Good luck in finding your 28 gauge .......

Never seen or heard of a 301 28 ga. I'm sure it would be a seller for them.If they had demos out I'd imagine they'll be coming to market soon unless they had problems. The 301s are good turkey guns for the money no doubt. But they leave a LOT to be desired. Barrels are too long too heavy(20ga&.410) made by public enemy #1 china, that and a safety on a single shot w a hammer is silly but required by US customs for imported guns. I'll admit I'm partial to the H&R/NEF single shots which are Cadillacs compared to 301s. Of course they priced like Cadillac's too nowadays. All that said 301s are good guns for the $ I'm just a tough customer.

My 301 in 410 seems ok. Agree with the goofy safety system. So far it is 4 for 4.  Years ago I owned a 28.  I hand loaded some hunting loads for it and got a pheasant.  I'm sure I have a picture somewhere.  Don't remember why I sold it.  Any factory loads in TSS for it?  That would be the difference for me.  My handloading days are over.

Plenty of good ammo out there . TSS makes it my best choice for hunting in general. I like the idea of a single shot in anything. I load 2 in my auto. If you need a 3rd shot, and I have, lol, then that round belongs to the turkey. Z

Thy safety has been wonderful in teaching my son to use it and make sure everything is ready before he touches the trigger. I am glad they have the safety in it and it will prepare him for when he moves up to another gun.

Your GUNS are only worth what you can find someone to pay for them. You can price them as high as you like but doesn't mean theirs a buyer for those prices!
