Yes. I heard a hen gobble 2 times and she also strutted and drummed. Aggressive behavior.

I've heard them gobble and seen them strut on several occasions. Hens in Kansas apparently drink Bud Light often.

Watched a Gould's hen gobble one time.  I have it on Hi-8 video tape around here somewhere.

Yep saw a hen strut and gobble on the limb a few years ago. Was a very light and soft gobble but a gobble none the less. They was a nice sized flock with adult gobblers and Jake's gobbling as well. Awesome to see.

I've seen them strut, never gooble. There are mocking birds and parrots so we know birds are fully capable of imitating, pretty cool.
