Up here in New York the Winter has been Mild.Just 1 Snowstorm  of less then 4"s do far in my area of NY. Maybe a 1/4" last night.  And a  Brutal  short period of very low temps with no snow.
Hoping it continues  for all of February. It is a good 45 degrees today. I am hoping more Turkeys will make it to mid March when the Swamps and Wetlands start to Green up with Swamp Cabbage poking up and Indian Heads greening up.
I am hoping that the North New Jersey Mts has a stronger Turkey Population  this Spring. Only heard Jakes  last Spring. It has been a Turkey Ghost Town- LOL.
Back in 2015 in my area of New York- the DEC made a 3-way Slash to the Fall Turkey Season. Cut the limit from 2 Big Birds to 1, Moved the opening day way back from October 1st to ,I believe the 19th this past Fall of 2022. And Slashed the Fall Turkey Season from 6 Weeks to 2 Weeks.
I have not seen any printed results of this and it has been 8 years already.  I plan to do more Scouting this year in both NY+ NJ. Hoping to hear more Gobbling. But so far,I am enjoying this Mild Winter!!! I will take it!

It's been really kind here, too.

No complaints from me OR the turkeys.

It has been a horrible Winter here in NY I look forward to the snow because it means much less pain for me every year as the dry air moves in. This year has been damp and rainy and full of pain. I hate years like this. Not to mention how horrible the lighting has been for photography as it has been dreary here.

I am sorry but I want snow every day for the rest of the season, I hate hurting like I do from March through November, the snow is my one thing that I love and have loved all my life weather wise. I have only had a dusting here, even when Buffalo had all that snow I could see mostly grass with very little snow.

Makes for a bummer of a deer season and even worse coyote season both calling as you can't see them coming and hunting with dogs as there are no tracks.

Give me a few feet of lovely powdery dry snow and I am loving it. I hate the weather we are having this year.

It's been a snowless winter here. And fairly mild with the exception of around Christmas.

Winter is far from over. I've seen some of the worst snows in March so time will tell.

My area of New York is supposed  to get some Artic Cold Temps come this Saturday- but no Snow. I think the Turkeys are surviving much better without  a Foot or more of Snow on the ground. Easier Scratching  around. Come May 1st and the opener,I think it will be a good Spring Turkey Season especially in South New Jersey.  Wish,I could get Tags for that area...
