I got this one in the mail today.  I really like Dirk Nowitzki..  He showed Lebron how to play the game.

That nice, I am glad he schooled them.. I hated the heat..

ILIKEHEVI-13

I hear ya!  They thought they were a sure thing.  They found out different.  I think I got 3 more of his rookies coming.

Gobble!

Glad they pulled it off. I hope the heat continue to be a team that self distrucks. They have some great individual talent.

ILIKEHEVI-13

The Heat have some talent no doubt.  But the better ovearall team won in the end.  Team skills beat individual skills everytime.

Here's some I got coming.

I'll be honest.....I did not know that Sig Hansen from Deadliest Catch played basketball.......must be a summer job for him or something...... :groupwave:

Being from South Florida , you should have heard the Tall Talk going on with the local fans -

The attitude going on is that the championship was" in the bag" and to start printing out the new shirts and caps -

Not to rub it in , but  things din't work out exactly like they hoped

Thanks for the comments guys.  Some may not know it but Dirk is from Wurzburg, Germany.  I read a story of his life history the other day on the internet.  Dirk is going to be 33 tomorrow(June 19) so he is getting up there in the age.  Hopefully he will play a good 3-4 more super years.  He already has more than 22,000 pts.  He also is the 1st European-born player in NBA history to receive the NBA Most Valuable Player award.  Only Nowitzki and three other players have ever averaged more than 25pts and 10 rebounds in the NBA playoffs, and only Nowitzki and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar have managed four consecutive 30pt 15 rebound games in the playoffs.  Dirk also holds a record that few will ever beat.  Nowitzki is the only player in NBA history to get over 100 blocks and 150 three-pointers in a single season.  In the Conference Finals, they faced Oklahoma City Thunder and Nowitzki not only scored 48pts while taking only 15 shots en route to setting an NBA playoff record of 24 consecutive free throws made in a game as well as most free throws made in a game without a miss.

His free throw shooting in the playoffs this year is the best ever. I judge a person's commitment to the game by how well they shoot free throws. I have so much respect for Dirk because he does more with fewer physical gifts than anyone in the game. It is never about him, but more about his team. When others care more about their "rock star" image than whether or not their team is successful, Dirk is a breath of fresh air. When ridiculed by Wade and James, he took the high road and even asked his teammates not to respond. Great champion!

Gobble!

He's no Karl Malone but he is pretty good lol

Tail Feathers

I saw a hilarious pic of Dirk laughing deeply.
