killing rattlers

I can't imagine seeing one close to a home and not killing it. Out in the wild I won't mess with him unless I want his skin.

I killed these two bad boys within a few yards of each other


I've killed lot of rattlers--but this mandingo gets the prize. I am 5'9 feet tall.

Here is a big rattler I killed at my cabin when the water was just over flood stage. At this juncture the water still had 6 more feet to rise. We had some local "helpers" with us this day. After I killed the snake I tried to take it over an show it to them. It was hilarious--you would have thought I was holding up Lucifer himself!!! They left me in a flash with a quick glance over their shoulder now and then to make sure I was not following them.

I have been it in the back of the leg by one while wearing snake boots and turkey hunting. With that said, I will kill every poisonous snake I see. Non poisonous, I let them walk or should I say crawl

That's a big turtle shell in the background.  I used to see them like that when I lived down in the delta region of Arkansas, but haven't seen one that big in a long time.

That one Catdaddy's holding has a lot of good meat on him! Wish we had some bigguns like that.
