I'd go with the Benelli M2 20 gauge, It's light and I enjoy taking it in the woods.
I hear good things about the Franchi Affinity 3 but look at the Franchi Affinity 3 Elite Turkey gun. I like mine!

I bought a Benelli SBE3 20ga and love it. Light weight and no click in the 3.

you probably can't find one but an 11/87 20 gauge is an awesome gun.  i use mine for turkey, bear, duck, and upland and love it
my second choice would be a tristar viper g2.  i like gas guns for turkey so i don't have to slam the bolt when loading the gun

  Mossberg 500/ 20 Gauge-- 20" Barrel.

Mossberg SA-20. w/ Burris fast fire 3. Wife used it this year to kill first bird. I did have trouble with it shooting light loads and re-cycling during sighting in, so I just went to "trap heavy load 6's" and no issues. Love the gun.

I should pick up my new SA 20 today.  Looking forward to getting it out to the range and she what she can do.  Still haven't decided on which red dot but I'm considering a green dot, maybe the Kingslayer.

M2 or the newer SBE3 would be my picks if money were not a factor.  20's don't get much lighter than those two.  Would also recommend adding a pistol grip.  Did this a couple years ago, wish I would have done it sooner.

No love for the Weatherby auto 20 gauge?

I always liked the features on them but since they don't make the popular featured 20's any more, folks move on to something more readily available.

What do you mean that they don't make the popular featured 20's??

Thanks!

Currently have the Urbino from Mesa Tactical installed but also have the Benelli SteadyGrip.  Both are made for the 12 gauge but fit the 20 with some slight overhang at the receiver, which hasn't bothered me enough yet to sand it down.

The Urbino is a shorter LOP than the SteadyGrip, so factor that in if deciding between the two. I did add a limbsaver slip on pad to the Urbino to bring the LOP closer to factory.

Not a semi auto. But I love a 870 youth. Short and light. No reason to carry a 20 if it's the same size as 12 ga. Only advantage at that point is recoil.  So my vote goes to some youth or compact model.
