Does anyone know if Cody is out of business? Website no longer goes to a valid address, and I've noticed that their calls are going up in price on ebay.

They are rumored to be in a period of down time while they build and get moved into a new facility.  I've heard they are to be back up and running this fall.

All just what I've HEARD or read............ I cannot substantiate ANY of it.

The good Lord ain't made a gobbler I can't kill.  I just gotta be there at the right time.....  on the day he wants to die.

Hopefully it's just a downtime. Sent them an email that failed to deliver also.

Dunno. I'm not a guy who has a boatload of calls from this or that guy but  I do have a Cody glass and slate from years ago. A fair number of birds have met their demise as a result. I use their calls...particularly the glass...as my primary call.

I have the Cody- Drop Dead Slate.

Definitely good calls. I have a world class slate, and the birds seem to appreciate the sounds it makes more than most of the other slates I own. Was interested in trying a spec I to see if there was any difference but not paying $500 for one (current eBay prices). Guess I'll give it a few months and see if they get back up and running.

Somebody who knows Bill personally just told me the same thing you said. We will see Cody Calls again!

I picked up my first Cody call at a flea market not long ago. Slightly used its a glass call and I've always liked/preferred a glass call for some reason. I got it for 8 or 9 dollars. I hope it works as good for me as some people say they do for them. If I like it I might pick up a slate too.
