It was the 3rd of June, another sleepy dusty Delta day....I spotted 2 big gobblers out strutting this morning on my way in to work. Little bit cooler this morning. 52 degrees out. Nice morning.

You must be in WI as well as it was 49 degrees here this morning :)

Tail Feathers

It's always a good day to see turkeys in strut.

But the real important anniversary in June is yet to come. :TooFunny:

Was the dark of the moon on the sixth of June
In a Kenworth pullin' logs
Cab-over Pete with a reefer on
And a Jimmy haulin' hogs
We was headin' for Bexar on I one-oh
'Bout a mile outta Shaky Town
I says, Pig Pen, this here's the Rubber Duck
And I'm about to put the hammer down
Love to hunt the King of Spring!

Happy

Ol Cw! Man it's been awhile since I heard that one.

That has always been one of my favorite songs and Ms Gentry is a beautiful lady!!  I just wish she would explain why Ole Billy Joe jumped

Tail Feathers

Billy Joe and her had a baby and threw it off the Tallahatchee bridge.  Guilt got to him and he jumped from the same spot.
Love to hunt the King of Spring!

Congrats. Hope he does as well.  My only Grandson is 5 and he will inherit all my stuff.
