New diaphragm calls

I wanted to give a shout out to a couple sponsors/members here.  I decided for next year I needed to have a selection of diaphragm calls dialed in.  After looking at some websites, I got calls from Hook's, Headcrusher Calls, and Houndstooth Game Calls.

My order from Hook's came fast via Priority Mail.  Great customer service!  I received an email with a tracking number when the calls shipped, which was very nice.  I like all four calls I ordered.

I ordered three calls from Mike at Headcrusher Calls.  Each call has a unique sound, and all of them could find a home in my vest next season.

I saw a post from Lyle at Houndstooth Game Calls, and decided to send him a private message asking about his diaphragm calls.  Lyle responded with a nice message and including his phone number, and encouraged me to call him.  We spoke at some length on the phone, and I ended up receiving 5 of Lyle's mouth calls.  All of the calls are excellent calls, each unique in it's own way.  I especially like the soft tape Lyle uses.  Very nice calls and I'm sure they'll find a place in my vest next season!

In my opinion, anyone looking for a new mouth call would be happy with a call from any of these makers.

Thanks for the kind words Dewayne!!!!!

Lyle, after getting a chance to play with the calls a little more, I have to tell you the All Pro 3 reed and "Tom Bomb" are all you said they were, but the other three calls are nice calls as well.  But the "Tom Bomb" is the bomb!  ;D  I really think the All Pro 3 reed might be my favorite though.

Houndstooth Game Calls

The Tomb BomB is a great call for the beginner that wants to sound like a veteran but not sound like a beginner easy to aquire front end notes and the raspy back end! The All pro 3 is easy also requires less air but more volume those type calls are easy calls to get a high front end yelp! Its all in what you want raspy versus clearer front end yelp I like all of them and thats the problem I always have lol which one do I go with! I have always been a Vcutt man also it just takes more manipulation of the reeds to make a cleare note but are easy to call with and I still use them alot!
