Tru Glo Mag Gobble Dot Sights on an 835

Just got finished dialing in one of my 835's with Win Long Beard #4's 3.5" 2oz with an Indian Creek .675. It is consistently 150 plus in 10" at 40 so I figured good enough. Issue I had was getting rear sight up enough to get pattern centered. I finally cut 6 layers of aluminum from a Bud Light can to get it up high enough to center pattern at 40. Anyone else have similar issue?
