Hunting in Nebraska

Does anybody have any suggestion on where to go in Nebraska? (public land)

Go to their online hunting atlas.  It shows everything that is open to the public for hunting and lists what can be hunted there.

Look at the map, find an area that meets your needs for amount of public and distance from lodging, study the aerial maps of that area and go kill a turkey. It's the approach most succesful people take when traveling. Not by going off of spots people are willing to post as public information on a forum.

Without looking it up lots of guys went to the Pine Ridge NF but it's recent reputation is that it has a "lots of guys" problem now.  Good luck.
