 :morning:
A few years back I fell off a ladder while cleaning my gutters and broke a couple of vertabrae. Well, the back rears it's ugly side ever once in a while and now I'm having issues while driving my atv. Does anyone have back issues that uses or can recommend a brace so i can use my bike? Thanks in advance!

Tommy Copper brace that raps around. It helps me. More importantly do your stretches!

I will send you a picture of the one that I have when I get home tonight.  I don't use it much but it helps when I do.  It's terribly hot tho.  I feel your pain ole buddy.  Constant back pain will wear on a fella mentally.

I had back issues about 7 to 8 years ago.  After going to a chiropractor for over a year, with only very minor improvements to my back, I went to my Family physician and had him refer me to a Neurosurgeon.  After an MRi was done, I found out I had spinal stenosis at L4 and L5.  Surgery was performed and I've never looked back.  I'm not saying surgery is the cure all but an MRI and possible consultation with a Surgeon could be your Best bet.  Back problems normally don't get better with time and a brace will only delay the outcome.  Exercise, physical therapy and possible weight loss maybe all that is required but you'll never know the ROOT cause until an MRI is performed.  Good luck and keep us posted.

My lower disc are jacked up also , I've put off surgery for years .
I stay diligent on my inversion table , it's the best thing I've found for relief so far .
I wear a brace when I know I'll be lifting heavy .  The best ones I've found are the ones you can cinch tight with Velcro.

Well, can't remember what numbers they are that I messed up but they're right below my shoulder blades and when the knife comes it strikes me under my right shoulder blade and sends me to my knees. If I sit on my do nothing for a couple of days it does get better until I forget myself again...

Sounds as if you have a problem with one or more of your thoracic vertebra, disc and or nerve bundles.  A belt around your lower back (lumbar area) won't help since it sounds like the problem it is up higher.  If it continues, and it probably will, MRI and surgeon consultation would be the way to go.

I'm 50, fallen off a ladder and broke my heal, fell 22 feet out of a lone wolf stand after a greedy going for a double shooting a shotgun... while my injuries aren't the same as yours.. the back brace helps but the biggest noticeable improvement to back pain relief is loosing weight. Stay away from fast food, soft drinks, and from sugar.  My back pain totally coincides with being overweight.

Thanks guys! I am losing weight so hopefully that'll contribute here. A friend who's a Chiropractor has given me recommendations for back braces so hoping for the best there as well... :camohat:
