I went out last year to get a bird with my bow, finally got a bird to come in and he came silent, would not come in all the way, so I took a shot as he was leaving, figured it for 34-35 yards, he was actually 38-39 and I gave him a feather cut on some belly feathers  ..  The sound you hear when he is strutting is me trying to get my yardage finder tether untangled and was unable
