I purchased 2 calls from Gooserbat, More Odds and Ends on 1/28.  Received the calls promptly and playing with them a bit I have determined that I REALLY like the cherry and walnut box and the maple and glass pot call.  Both will be in my vest this season.

I can yelp and purr fair on a diaphram call and am beginning to be able to make a cluck that actually sounds like a cluck. I currently have a Primos Limbhanger, the original brown, 2 straight reed call and a Woodhaven Stinger Pro Series Simple Wing.  What would you recommend?  I will primarily be using friction calls as I am more confident in my ability to make real turkey sounds on those when it counts, ie when Ole Gabby the Gobbler is on his way in than on a diaphram call that I can half  use.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

The addiction will cost you time and money and alienate those close to you. I can give you the names of a dozen addicts — myself included — whose wives begin to get their hackles up a week before turkey season starts and stay mad until a week after it closes.

I like the Bacon and Hillbilly calls but the O.S.S. and I.C.E.  are great too.  I have some of his new ones that I have practiced with but haven't used yet.  The P.L.S. is good too.
